Lina Maria Zafra Castro is our new colleague in Colombia. She represents LBP from her office at the Holland House in Bogota. You will be able to meet with Lina Maria during Fruit Logistica in Berlin (5th - 7th February 2020). Welcome Lina Maria and good luck with all your efforts to promote LBP in your country.
Working for a logistics company specialized in fresh fruits and vegetables means we know all about living on the edge. Nevertheless, one of our last company trips for the LBP staff was one for those that enjoy seeking real thrills in their life. How about high speed travelling in a rubber boat on the North Sea? And when we say high speed we mean… high speed!
JAN KEEPS LBP UP AND RUNNING
When you work hard to achieve the best possible results for your clients and yourself, you occasionally need a hand to keep you on your feet. Jan Hegge is the physiotherapist that keeps our staff up and running. Once a month he takes care of our physical discrepancies or small problems… for twenty years now!
LBP takes care of the environment and uses the warmth in a sustainable way, with 1400 solar panels on the roof. Still, when the barometer rises up to around 40 degrees Celsius and we manage to maintain the temperature and keep the heath out, we don’t mind a small refreshment. Luckily we have Colin looking after his colleagues with a fruity refreshment.
SOCCER KINGS OF THE WESTLAND AREA
Like we mentioned in our last Fruiticle (#6): LBP organized and hosted its first LBP Westland Cup, a indoor soccer tournament. And as a host we felt obliged to win this cup… Luckily, we did! It was a close one, but with the support of our colleagues, families and friends, we managed to win the first ever edition of the LBP Westland Cup.
CHECK, CHECK, DOUBLE CHECK
No one trusts them and they do care! Marcel van Leeuwen (our Brexit team leader) and Anton Filippo travel a lot together and it always leads to serious congestion and significant delays. Here’s why!
